In saturday's paper I read Click & Clacks column They had a letter from "Ken" who had the bright idea to run his engine after all the oil was drained out to empty all the oil from the oil pump. They told him he was ruining the motor. What an understatement. They did not even mention the damage that was done when he restarted the engine with a dry oil pump. He even probably revved the motor up to get the oil gauge to read.

I hope I never buy one of his used cars.
