i was just wondering
it said on your site (or on toycrusher.com i dunno) that ur truck weighs 4300 lbs right
so i was wondering, are 97 heavier cause i could have sworn i heard the mine only weighs 4100 and its a 4x4 auto CC
is ur truck really heavier or does mine weigh more then i think it does??
if this is true, doesn't it mean that 2000-02 4x4s are faster then 97 2wds???

Scale must be out my '01 weighs 3900 with me in it and a 1/4 tank of fuel.
2001 RC 4.7 5sp 9.25" 3.92 LSD
Ported 68mm throttle body, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" cold air, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat. Electric fan Convertion, Awaiting HO cams.
Working on adjustable fuel pressure with return.

The 4300lbs was the normal "street dress" of the truck. This included the lift kit, larger tires, toolbox with "stuff" in it, 1/2 tank of fuel, and myself. My truck now weighs 4190lbs with driver and 1/2 tank of fuel. (I'm 175lbs.)

"stuff" as in....battery(from what i heard), NOS tank, fire extingusher for the wuss in the civic that attempted to keep up but blew some nos valves,etc.?

Old "Stuff": Tow straps, wheel plug kit, coolant, 2qts oil, spark plugs, airfilter, first-aid kit, assorted tools, beer cooler.
New "Stuff": Two nitrous bottles, battery, tow-straps (incase the engine lets go), 1qt oil, 1 can NOS Octane Booster (Race Blend), assorted tools, first-aid kit.
