had same problem, with a number of other cars...
each time, it was a blown fuse...and each time, that fuse was under the hood, not in the fuse box in the cab.
Can't remember exactly, but I am pretty sure that my radio/interior fuse was under the hood on the drivers side near the firewall (on my 92 v6).

On my Dakota(00), i had the same problem. The solution was my sunroof. Bought the truck used and whoever installed the sunroof, messed up the wiring which burned the lights and player.
