Is the 88 a 6 lug

just mesure from center to center of studs I think
they are 4 1/2.

If you can't figure what it is I can go mesure
on my Dak to be sure.

Thanks Larry! This one is a 5 lug. I meassured from stud to stud (Two right next to each other), got just under 2 3/4, Or should I have messured completly across the middle? We've got a bunch of rims out at our property and my other half is out there trying to find me one as we speak. Suppose to call back for the info. Diane

Whatever bolt pattern a ford ranger is, is the same as the 5 lug dakota's.

Yes they go by center distance not stud to stud

I was not sure if it was 5 or 6 yes ford is the
same as dodge with 5 hole pattern

Did you get your flowmaster 40 on yet they are
a little louder than the 50 series or the dynomax

Hi Larry (and everybody),
We took the exhaust off yesterday, but wasn't sure what else we we're going to need, hoped nothing, but you know how that goes. Attempted to clean out the cat, was to clogged, so it's gone. Need some slip joints didn't count on now. Hopefully get the Flowmaster on early this evening. I'll let you know about it and after all is done I'll top off the tank and check mileage, let ya know the results.

Do you know of a good site where I can get some scamatics(spelling wrong)? There is a bracket & spring off on a connecting linkage at the throttle, beleave it's mostly for the cruise control, but we evedintly don't have it just right, truck won't idle, now. Before we attempted to hook it back up the way it looked like it shoud go, truck would shift out of 1st way to fast. It'll wind out now, but won't idle. Yes, I just had to run down the road w/open exhaust. You'd think I was a teenager again, lol. Truck is still really holding back. Also, the O2 sensor isn't even connected. Wire just hanging and can't find the other end. Guess thats why I'm getting a 22 & 24 code, ya think? All for now, Diane

I would get the o2 hooked up it will make a big
diff. it controls how much fuel the engine gets

You can adjust the TV cable on the trans and
change the shift points, the more it pulls out
the higher the shift so by moving the cable
back away from where it is conected to the TB
will make it shift higher

Where do I hook it in. The wire and connector are there coming from the top of the motor, it's just been unplugged. Counld'nt see where the other end was. Where does the other end come out at? Is it underneath somewhere? If I know where to look we can probably find it when we start to put the exhaust back on later today. Valve cover gaskets have been recently replaced. We're assuming the previous owner probably just forgot to hook it back up. This probably has a lot to do with the truck not having any power on take off, huh?
Thanks Larry! ;)
