Just recently purchased a used 03 Dak cc V6 5spd, 4WD so far so good, seems like a solid truck but could use more muscle, understand 04 has a new V6 with 210 hp, would be nice. Any suggestions/reccommendations for a retractable solid bed cover?

Dakattack who did u see at lane? what counter did u go to? Beacuse lane sells so many different parts each person kind of has there own area that they know about. example circle track, drag racing, hot rods, etc. granted this is no excuse for the mistaken part but with the Huge Number of parts that they sell mistakes can happen. more than likely the part nuber is only off by a little bit. I work with a local race team and we deal with them all the time and 9x out of 10 they get it right.

That would be "bubba" Mike Brooks, he don't know much about custom style, Ask him about circle track though and he will know the answer. really it was simple mistake, yea i know it's a long damn drive there and back, but i wouldnt expect a discount. just go back and talk to mike again and he will take care of you. In my lane book the rollpan for the dakotas are PN# apc10205115 thats an apc brand fiberglass. Lund brand also makes one PN#lun20022 also fiberglass. these #'s are direct from the Lane catalog. the last 4 #s of the apc and the last 2 of the lund differ for the fullsize. And tell Bubba, Chuck from Weenik's crew says hi. let me know what happens. hope i could help.
see ya chuck

Hey there Steve your not to far from where I work, I work at 6 mile and I-75..

I drive 50 miles one way to work everyday, that is sure going to rack up the miles on my Dakota that is why I run Amsoil 0W-30 in her..

hey quick 6, is your truck a 4x4? also, you mentioned something about goin to a track, would that be on or off road.

also, anybody that wants to have a good time goin off road, my dad owns property up by gaylord and so do some of his friends, we all go up there and have lots of fun...the next time will probabily be memorial weekend, so if anybody wants to come up, youre probabily welcome to, or we could arrange a time to go up sooner. Steve

I'm still here. Try to check the boards each day but I work 2 jobs to support the family and Dakota hobby. Very tied up but would like to find time for a meet. If you know where Watervliet is, Lane Automotive holds a free car show there on Memorial Day weekend. Would be great to have a bunch of Daks all pull in together.
