Subject: ball joints which ones?

Message:
Just have a quick question here, the ball joints on my 98 sport with 81k on it are due for new ones, uppers and lowers, which ones are better to go with, napa chassis parts, perfect circle (a division of moog), or moog? What experiences have you had with any of them? Also, the napa ones are egg shaped when you see a cutaway pic of them and the moog are more like half circle looking with a flat bottom, does the egg shape design provide any advantages over the traditional design? Any input would be very helpful and appreciated.

How long should ball joints last in the dakotas? When i went to the dodge dealership they were telling me i needed new control arms too because the ball joints are rivited in and the front sway bar is attached to the control arms too. I refuse to pay almost $2k for them to do the job when i know i can get the parts for under 250. Even with aftermarket parts they quoted me 1200. Last time i go to the dealership for anything. Also, does anyone have the moog part number for upper and lower ball joints, i looked on summit racing and they don't say what specific truck the ones listed on there are for, just says dodge trucks. Thanks for the help everyone.
