Just a heads up... I towed my truck (2000 cc v6)to the dealership last month because it wouldn't go into gear while the engine was running. They replaced the master cylinder (? the clutch cylinder, not sure if it's the master) and were still unable to get the truck in gear. The said they'd have to replace the clutch too (40k miles). I wimpered and thought it through over the weekend. Come monday they call and say the clutch is fine and that an air bubble was still in the clutch pump system or some $hit...needless to say they almost charged me $700 on top of the $400 pump replacment to replace a clutch that was fine.... I wonder if your in the same predicament.

The problem with my with the clutch is that the throwout bearing is going out slow i can hear when i get on it. I refuse to go with a stock clutch because it is a piece. I need a place to find one. I can not see why i would just replace to throwout bearing and not replace the clutch. If the truck isnt going into gear it could be one of the master cylinder or slave cylinder. But i can hear it when i get on it. You know the sound that i am talking about dont you. It is the clacking noise when you get on it. then i aslo have the dreaded clunk while pressing the clutch in in ffirst or second at high rpms.
