U people have an awsome site. Any way my dad passed and i wound up with a 00 3.9 auto, it looked like a farm truck.I stuck some 18's on
it,dressed it with a bed cover,jet stage 1 chip
and leveled it out, also went cat back. truck runs
great at 2500 and up,but the hole shot sucks.I thought about a little SQUEEZE probably a 50 shot
but i'd rather stay natural.I work on boats for a living not Daks. OH yea MY dad would be proud to drive it. maybe i could put a pic.up for all the world to see.thanks for any and all help.

You can change the torque converter, I am running
a 1600 rpm stall and as soon as I am rolling I am
above 2000 rpm and it makes a big diff in
performance

KRC had a used 1 that was flashing at 1800 rpm
and would make your truck a lot faster out of the hole. Think they were asking $100 for it

Sorry to hear about your father passing.

You can also try a V8 TB, they give most V6 Daks more responsive bottom end and after that a lower (numerically higher) gear set in the rear. You can use 3.90 and it wont kill drivablity to much and more wild would be 4.10 but it'll hurt highway a bit.

Remember him always and do him proud.

Sticker in glove box or under hood the ratio will
be listed.

I also went from 3.55 to 3.91 it did not affect
my gas milage at all on my stroker actualy seams
better in 20 degree weather still pulling over 20
last highway check was 22.36 and this is a 4X4
