I would suspect the rich is coming from the
relocated IAT

The IAT relocation is a hit and miss, sure it will
dump more fuel but not all trucks react positive
to this mod

To bad you could not have put it back in the
manifold and done another run with the wide band
O2 you would see it runs leaner

What was the ratio at 4000, my stroker leaned out
bad anything over 3 3500 and was running an Apexi
until I went to the mopar PCM than it was ok even
the ASE chip leaned out.

Apexi Fuel Controler, Not cheap but works well for
tunning your fuel

At 4000 it was 12.8
4400 12.6
stayed at about 13.2 untill the drop at 4000.
I plan on moving the IAT back.
Also looks like i need a O2Simm..
The price for removing the cat..
Also..134.8rwhp..I was thinking it might have been more?

What plugs and gap are you running with the MSD
go to the AP platnium tip and gap at .060 AP3923
run them a 100 miles and see if your getting a
tan color on the insulator, you need to tune the
MSD systems to get the gain from them. Or if your
stil running the std heat range AP3924 or AP5224
ext tip like the mopar truck plugs will also
bring in some low end they run just a little
cooler than the 39 series no 5223 avalible or
the extended champ is not avalible in 1 range
colder

The only reason to go aftermarket on the IGN is
so you can run a bigger gap and create a bigger
flame front, if your running the std gap they
will be to hot and lose perf. On a reg plug go
.045 .050 you can go .060 with the platnum due
to the lower resistance it takes to fire the plug
over the std chrome nickle

AP platnum tip not the APP all platnium

Yes I would either put a carsound cat on or get
a simm the computer was calibrated to run with
the back presure created by the cat and there
are some isues there, you will also gain low end
with the cat.

I just put one on my stroker, ported heads 48mm
F&B modded intake and to my disbeleave actualy
gaind some low end and it did not affect my top
end at all and no more code 32 EGR on my 95

I was really getting tired of seeing the check
engine light all the time

They are $96 with shipping and slip fit units
no welding like the catco universal replacemnt
for the Daks that also give you a bad rotten egg
smell

http://www.truckperformance.com/

The 134 is a little low I would say after some
fine tunning and tweaking 140 145 would sound
more like it.

I see stock V6's with just a cold air setup
running 130 at the wheels is average just sounds
like some fine tunning needed start with the plugs
get them running tan color by playing with the gap

Mark the creator of this board took my sugestion
went and got some AP3923 gaped them at .060 and
could not beleave how much stronger his truck
ran, said he noticed it as soon as he backed
out of his garage

Also.I'm looking on removing my (bullet) muffler and going with a Magnaflow or Dynomax.Bullet sounds to "ricey"
Also getting another IAT sensor..to install in stock location..Other is In my CAI..
Can use during the hot florida seasons.
As far as The cat Simm..I popped a code for cat efficency..I cleared it..And drove 40 miles no code yet?
Just trying to get all the power I can out of the Mods I've done so far..
Thanks for all the advice...

The 3923's may solve that rough start prob, my
stroker used to do that with the plugs at .045
once I went to .060 with the AP's it went away
I could not figure that one out my self

sounded like a full race cam on cold starts, these
computer controled engines do some weird stuff.

Give ti time your code will return, get the simm
or a cat and it will not.

If you do a hard reset every time you get the code
your comp will never get a chance to completly
learn the new pyramiders and run its best

Just out of curiosity how many miles did your
truck have to learn before you ran the dyno

You definitly have to do something about that, on
your setup I would just get a high flow cat run
it 3 to 500 miles and I bet your dyno resaults
will be much better

The computer needs 50 miles for a short term learn
and about 250 and 21 cycles to completly learn.
Mine seames to be more like 3 to 500 miles than
she runs perfict.

a cycle is a complete warm up and cool down that's
probably wht mine takes so long it takes me a
week or more just to get a cou[ple hundred miles

Your dyno run would have been better with more
miles, I run 200 before I dyno anything with no
mil light triped, If I get a light I will solve
that than do another 200 than dyno.

These boards don't recognize messageboard tags or whatever their called (with the square brackets). You can paste images with HTML though img src="url of picture here" (enclose that in < and >). Anyway... you may have already known that. The address wasn't the actually photo url and it couldn't access it. Gave me a weird error. If anyone else gets it, here's the address I used that worked.
