By my buddy's 98 neon I was doing someplace around 110 on the interstate. I was ahead of him and him and our other buddy both said his speed read 110. All I have is true duals, 2.73 rear gears and a heavy right foot. I don't suggest taking them out that high, the rpm's about 5500. I know it didn't like it to much, blew a lifter next morning starting her up.

not sure if its the stock gear or not. most of the time a higher rearend gear will give you more top end, were a lower rearend gear will give you better 0-60 times, and get you into your powerband quicker. but it also depends on the tranny.
