I recently found a hose with a white end hanging from the front of my truck. I traced it back to the to the transmission pumkin and I cannot figure out where to reconnect it. All help would be great because I don't want to drive this thing with extra stress on the tranny I have a 2002 club cab sport 3.9l. thanks in advance

I agree, it's a vent hose... does it go to the top of your tranny?? if so it's a vent line.

So I don't need to have it hooked up to anything just secured to the frame somewhere or does it need to actually go somewhere?? It also has a white fitting on the end of it if that helps. Thanks again

Ken,
Check all of your vac hoses and conectors on the top of you engine.
Have you noticed any difference in shifting. The trans vac system is important. Small adustments make a big difference, so if it were my veh I would track down the proper place to reconect the line
