alright im back in the spend more $$ on the dak mode because sum idiot kid rearended my sierra. im getting acheck for 1100 dollers from his insurence company so i decided on getting a cam..the motors got 1.7 rr in it so i need a cam that will work with it. any one have any ideas?? i would like it to lose the steady idle if possiable

I don't know about the cams, but I've got 137,000 miles on my '96 and still adding things. As long as it runs alright, upgrade!!

Nice attitude. Try to help a guy out and he gives you crap. My point was that since you have 1.7 rockers you are better off having a custom grind than running something designed for a 1.6 ratio. And rather than pull a cam profile out of my ass, I figured I'd direct you towards someone who can give you a good suggestion, namely KRC. Good luck.
