I've heard that the premage computers from a v8 can be use on a v6. Is this true and what kind of preformance gains will I get? Also is the tb from the v8 different from the v6?

They will run on a V6 but not right.
I have never checked out the diff between the
TB's on the pre mag throttle body injection
If its bigger and bolts up give it a try

I don't think that it would run right only because it would be thinking for another 2 cylinders. Fuel air mixture that would be going no where. It may work, but I dont know for how long.

K, that's not nice. 1 Of the reasons I payed for a membership & play in the Member Only area!
Are you talking about the PCM on the Passenger fender? NO, a V8 computer won't work. You will have 2 extra injector wires hanging loose. Fuel/Air Mixtures are different. Connector Plugs are a different size. 'puter will always be looking for the other cylinders. Check Engine Light will always be on.
A V8 TB is a whole diff story! Yes, It will work and do wonders for your performance. Make sure you get a V8 Throttle cable also for eaze of installation.

the v8 computer on a v6 [PREMAG] will work
[start and run]but the v6 will spark knock like crazy
also the o/d and the tach won,t work if you have them
i just try it a week back with a 88 ram 5.2 on a
89 dak 3.9
