I know this question has been asked a million times but I haven't really found the answer I'm looking for. I have a 2000 3.9V6 and I already have the K&N FIPKII intake and a flowmaster 2.5"in and out exhaust. My question is what would be the next mods to do such as like TB and rockers or something else and what should I expect to pay for the mods. I'm just looking for a ballpark figure so I can do some planning.

Do a v8 throttle body, thats like $135.00ish if you get the cable too. Headers are an option too but the only ones I know of are from JBA, and are like $300.00ish, they fit OK and the're probably better than the stock exhaust manifolds but the quality is so so. 1.7 roller rockers are the other mod every one likes go to socaldakota or v8 performance.com to check those out.
moving the IAT is the cheapest / easiest mod to do. Once you start to do some mods and see some gains, you wont be able to stop...just kiss most of your paycheck good by.

TB and 1.7's are great mods between the 2 around
$500 but well worth it.

Once you get the intake side done than think about
headers you will get more benifit from them. The
JBA's are great you just bolt them in place of
the stock exh manifolds no cutting or welding to
do, they look and sound good

1 other thing you could consider for your 00 is
the superchips tunner to upgrade your computer
they are around $300

Like I said before there needs to be a link on this forum where a person can go to see all the mods being done.

I've seen other forums on diffrent vehicals that will have a section dedicated to mods.

It could really cut down on some of repeat post about mods.

But hay you came to the right place, just keep asking.

Next time I do any mods I will take pics and Mark
already has a section for them but no one

I should have documented my stroker install but at
the time I did not even know about this site and
that there were so many interested in them.

I have an upcoming S/C Kenny Bell install on an
03 Hemi truck, I will put up on some webspace my
bros wife has for everyone to see.

I have a timing chain and intake mod billet belly
pan install coming up around march also V6 that I
could document.

If anything comes up I will get it here, Oh ya I
have a head gasket deal on a 318 it would be
almost the same as V6, timing chain also on that
one but I need to wait until the guy gets his
front end back together there will also be a Dana
power trax installed in the front end making this
94 ram a true 4 wheel drive with 3.92 sure grip
rear

Usualy most trucks that come in just need minor
things done to them.
