Ive read all of the posts going over this, and all of them say to look at the speedtweaks website. Unfortunately, its no longer up. Can anyone go over this for me, and everyone else, and have something for future reference?

Certain years you do not need to swap the cable
What you need to do is see what linkage you have
on your truck.
The V6er's came with ball stud, disc type or the
cam type which is the V8 set up. all the other
cables, cruse and trans are the same.

I have a 97, and im getting a TB off of a 99 r\t. The problem im having is that even though everyone says to look at speedtweaks for the info, i cant find it. If its there, can someone give me a direct link to it? Ive had bad luck with all of the plastic parts snapping and breaking, and i cant dont really want to break this TB cable too. If the infos not there, can someone give some detailed instructions as to how to remove the cable and get it back in? Id like to see Larry handle that one :P
