So it's like this. A friend of mine, not a Mazda driver, I consider my co-nemesis (as well as Corp).
Well, he has a Chevy Xtreme. Regular Cab, 2wd, blah blah blah. We did a race off a roll, and he smoked me. I never asked him what he had, so he informs me he's got the 4.3L V6.
After asking around, I later found out he has a lighter truck, larger engine w. 10 more hp. So I took the defeat. I'm fine w/ that.
That was the summer that passed.
This is a different truck, different driver, SAME ENGINE!
I work with a guy who drives a Chevy S10 club cab, 4x4 w/ the EXACT same engine. I'm stoked that I found this out. So after work, I ask him to race.
Note: Corp - we raced the same way you and I did onto the QEW
He agrees, and we're set. Now, given the fact that the weather didn't help, we're ready to go. Light goes green...
SEE YA! WHAT A JUMP FOR DODGE MICK!!!
Off the bat I took a truck length, and continued to pull away. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!
So we both get off the ramp, and onto the highway, and I finally look down - 155 km/h... I had 5 truck lengths on him!!!!
Finally, he flashes his lights, I slow down, and we pull even. He looks at me, and mouths, "You bastard!", and drives off as I take the next exit!
NOT THE SAME TRUCK - BUT REVENGE ON THAT ENGINE!
I have more confidence to try my other buddy's Xtreme now!

keep in mind he has 4x4 and weighs more,not to make you mad but does he have any mods? I had a similar race with a buddys 4.0 4x4 ranger, i spanked him so bad and then he got exaust and i had a shot tranny and he kept witth the dak
but new tranny now and he cant hang

u know 94 s10s (2x4)weigh 2700 lbs!!! the lightest gen 3 is 3600, its amazing any V6 has ever beaten one...unless new ones weigh more i dunno
