The other nite i was on my way home when a monte pulled up next to me. The driver kept starin' at me so I asked if there was something I could help with. He said he was just wondering how bad he could beat me. So I asked what he had in it. He said it was stock. Light turned green and we were off. He got me on the jump and just kept fading away. So I think it's safe to say I won't be messin' any monte carlos anymore. Anyone else ever raced one of 'em? What'd you think of 'em?

well, i have an '00 QC 3.9l 5spd Sport. my wifes got a '99 Gran Prix GT 4dr(the monte is a copy of a GP) nad I would never want to race her even to the grocery store. Stock Gran Prix runs 0-60 in 7 sec or better stock. drive my truck for work, the Gran Prix for fun!

Yeah i heard that about the new ones. But I think they say supercharged on the side. I'm pretty sure that one just said monte carlo SS. So I guess that makes me feel even worse about it.
