I think it is called a PCM or a SMEC. The brains that is what I need. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I had asked a Dodge dealership and they said they could not get one. I am willing to go after market but have know idea where to start. I am also not looking forward to having to do any rewiring..

Thanks for any and all help.

Ok just in case anyone is interested. I am not sure that I need a new PCM. Here is the deal. I put in a rebuilt engine. I got a little over excited and tried to start it with out the neg cable properly mounted on the block. So I think I fried something. Right now I have no spark. I also can not get any codes out of the computer because it set for so long with battery disconnected. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot? If I take it to a Dodge place will they be able to plug it into a diagnostic machine with it not being able to start? Any way I could use some good advice.

Thanks again for any and all help.
