Jeez guys,
I first started coming here in Feb or so......and every page had a few posts on putting a v8 tb on a v6......and last time i was here a month ago....same thing...i come back and what do I see.....MORE FRICKEN POSTS!!!!!
I bet 15% off all the posts in this V6 section is about putting a damn V8 TB on a V6....
Use the fricken search funtion people!

What would be nice is a site connected to this forum that has a how to section on all the the common mods.
That way all the reputius questions could be answered there.
This a great forum and it's saved me a butt load of money.

i am such a silly boy! I am so stupid that all I can do is ask questions instead of reading answers to the same questions that I want to ask! I am so stupid that I cannot figure out that my 85 Dak does not have fuel injection but a carborator so to install a throttle body of any kind just is not a simple thing. It will cause me to hav opt re-wire everything under the hood and even buy a way different type of computer that is not compatable with my current system. I am just a big stupid dumb-ox that cannot figure out that my truck is way to old to do this for less then a few thousand bucks and that it would be a lot simpler just to buy a newer truck.

IF a separate forum page IS created, it should be separated into Gen I, Gen II, and Gen III truck forums. They are all different and thats why everybody asks. I admit that I started a couple of those posts, but it is because people owning those newer daks try to tell me certain things that wont work for me cause I own an '89 dak. It took me weeks for the correct people to respond and answer my questions correctly. That is why there is so much wrong info tossed around, people posting a question have older or newer dakotas than the people who try to answer their questions. Sometimes people think that their advice for fixing something on a '02 dak will work on someone who owns a '90 dak.
If they split the entire forum into different generation or type of dakota, we woulnt complain about the overcrowding of people asking the same questions about different parts. I understand.
BTW, Can I put a '90 tbi from ther V8 work on my V6 thingy? What is a tbi anyway? Just joking...

Another thing, If you become a member, are the forums split up more specificly? If so, I guess that a majority of us is too damn cheap to become a member and fix this problem and separate ourselve from the many (annoying?) non-members.

Good point, ???????????. You have to wonder why some people aren't contributing more by offering their expertise or presenting some unique questions.
One of the problems I see is that the search engine on here really sucks. You search for something and may get info that is 3-4 years old and people may wonder if there is more recent information. You may find that IAT adjusters are greatest thing going, but that was several years ago and today everyone laughs at it.
Bottom line is if you don't like reading about TB swaps - why read the damn threads?
