 Subject: Starter Work on '92 3.9L V6

Just to let anyone know who has to remove a starter on a '92 4x4 V6, GO THROUGH THE LEFT WHEEL WELL! You guys' tips saved me a lot of time and money, thanks a lot!!!
On a side note, be carefuel of dealership's pricing on parts. (forgive me if I'm stating the obvious) I needed to replace the contacts in my solenoid b/c I was having intermittent starting problems, and the local dealership (in Courtenay, BC, Canada) wanted $25 for the parts + $190+taxes for labour. I did it myself, and bought the contacts at LORDCO Auto Part (like Pep Boys) for $5.85. I hate dealerships...

I'm surprised that the dealer even offered to replace the contacts, we just replace the whole starter.
