 Subject: Which is the DOWNSTREAM 02 sensor?

When getting code 0138, it says it is
"Downstream O2 sensor shorted to voltage (voltage higher than normal operating range)"
there are 3 O2 sensors on my truck, right? Which one is the downstream? I assume it is the one before the cat, but I need to make sure before changing it. Thanks!

Well, I guess it is the one AFTER the cat...after doing an extensive search.
So, this *could* mean my cat is bad, right?
Or, the sensor (or sensor heater) could be bad, or the wiring could be bad...

go to your local autozone, if the guy behind the counter knows anything at all he will be able to fix you up with the parts you need.
