Daks have the 8.25" axle... All you need is to buy 3.92 gear set or 4.10 gear set (whichever you choose) for the chrysler 8.25" differential. If you have a 4x4, make sure you change the gears to the same size in the front as you did in the rear. The differential in the front is Dana 44 i believe. Hope this helps.

You can get them at truckperformance.com is one. I suggest you just search around the internet for a set and do some shopping. Same as you would for anything else you would buy. I'll look around to heklp ya out and see if I can find you a deal.

gear changes aren't for the shadetree mechanic....you don't have everything properly lashed and adjusted you will break everything!....you will need a dial indicator and other weird stuff...just look in your yellow pages and find a speed shop in your area...they usually give good deals on install if you buy the product from them. don't go to like a City Garage or some crap like that....they'll charge you an arm and a couple of legs.

you could just get the complete rear from a bone
yard and swap they may even make you a deal on
an exchange for your 3.55

richmond gear has them talk to ryan at v8performance.com he also has the gears

also you can add a locker like the power trax
or a whole carrier like the auburn or mopar sure
grip

pinion height and backlash must be set right or
it will be nosy and not last long you need a
height tool to set from center these can be
purchased from summitracing.com around $250 and
like we did we also had to turn out some round
pieces to sit in the bearing area and have a
shaft threw the center set with a std and than
mesure the height

no if ands or butts it has to be right
