Has anyone ever use the accel ignition coil for the 3.9 dodge dakota?
I bought one, I installed it. I had problems installing it because I couldn't get the screws off.
well, I couldn't get the truck started once before, I had it towed and it turned out that the coil was bad. I put the old on back on, and drove home. Exchanged it for a new one, everything went fine for about 1 month or so, couldn't get it started, and it was the coil. so I give up.
Was this truck meant to have the orginal coil forever! or should I invest in something different?

i got a msd coil,no probs. yet10000 miles on it

They even make a direct bolt on replacement
upgrade coil for the dodge trucks.
15,000 miles on my SS Blaster MSD and no probs
with the coil or 6a box

If you look in any of the mopar performace parts
books you will see they offer the MSD 6al as
the upgrade with the mopar name on the MSD box.
The MSD is recomended by mopar performance
Dang I should have got one it says mopar on it,
oh well mine is red
