My K&N FIPK is scheduled to arrive here wednesday (birthday) 9/11 hehe

I know that you told me that there was a way to get more cold air under my hood so that it would increase performance for the intake. So I was wondering if you have any pics that you can show me so i know what to do for sure Or if you dont then i could just listen to the advice you have to say and do it from there. Some help on this would be greatly appreciated.

A small improvement would be to take the rubber flap, on the passenger side just inside your headlight, off.

Take the intake tube mount off and remove the
plate in front of it and stick the tube mount
back on it will direct the air up towards the
side of the air cleaner.

If you want you can use the tube build something
to hold it and aim it at the side of the air
filter. It will blow good cold air at 40 to 50
mph. right around the air cleaner.

Cheap easy cold air set up that works fairly well
getting cold air up and around the filter

You don't get a lot of dirt the grill deflects
most and its off to the side under the grill.

I had dragon flies and lots of dirt in my air
cleaner with the complete stock set up but I
did a lot of off roading.

If it is then should i just disconnect the negative battery cable off the battery or what? Some advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

I would just let it learn the new intake without
a reset.

It will just be pulling a little more air and tune
in after 50 to 100 miles.
