hello again still having stalling problems with my 1990 dakota v6 3.9
after the truck stalls it wont start up
i was told by a mechanic that it may be the hall effect. I've called all the part stores for this part & they have no clue what i'm talking about.
any suggestions?

I just changed the Hall effect in my 87' V6 carburated Dakota. The Hall Effect plate in in the distributer under the rotor, at least in the my carburated truck. It is also call the ignition pick up plate, or distributor pick up plate. It comes out with two screws on the outside of the distributor and has a wire bracket that goes out the side of the distributor.

It seemed to stop the stalling in my truck, but time will tell. Brent
