I'm on Larry's side also. I'm not licensed but I'm a damn good shadetree wrench cranker and whenever I get stumped Larry has been there to explain it in laymans terms, willing to offer his advice and point me toward other websites that help with repairs or parts. It's amazing how fast you can learn something if you look, listen, read & heed rather that accuse.

I have not (YET) been accused of "creating" posts and would probably Pi$$ me off also! Even IF he did that's very helpful info that made me run out and check mine! guess what JKnPA, whenever I pulled in the wire to get a better angle/view IT PULLED FREE! it was just a matter of time before I was kicking the... how do you say it? the feder.

If it wasn't for people like Larry @ J&J Auto, Sam @ SoCalDak, Steven Roark @ Amsoil, Bernd, Steven @ intensedak.com and myself and (My sincere apologies for not getting your names) a few other regulars that are willing to share a wealth of knowledge there would be a group of people staring at their screens with broken down dakotas and then the site would crash & burn in a miserable way. I would have been one of the a year ago! This is my 1st experience with getting to know a Mopar from the inside out.

JKnPA, do us all a favor & consider the possible consequence of accusing somebody of anything. There are other posts that I'm suspicious of so I just quit answering them. Not that I think somebody "created a problem", they just won't listen and use the advice that was given after they came here for help and keep asking the question a couple of weeks later. Sometimes it's better to leave things unsaid & keep your opinions to yourself.

If somebody comes here because their Dak won't start hopefully they find this post and there is a laundry list of things to check!

Now I'm getting P.O'd and need to get off the soap box,
Shank

Shank, I share your sentiment about the guys like Larry,Steve, Bernd and the Steves. These guys are very helpful, in fact if it wasn't for their suggestions, I would not have tried the Mods I have tried. Would I have known about putting a V8 throttlebody on a v6, hell no. I have been a electronics technician for over 20 years and a fairly good mechanic, I willing to tackle new projects,if I know it will improve mileage or power or both. My thanks and appreciation goes out to all you Guys who help out and give good good suggestions. As for Larry having over 30 years of automotive experience, where else would you get the kind of advise he give here without costing anything except the time to do the research and the cost of an internet connection. Here in Washington State in the Puget Sound Area, the average shop charges 70 dollars per hour, the dealers much more than that. Thanks again Guys for all your help.

John from Washington State-Wadak

Hey, for the record I'm on Larry's side.
but did anyone else notice that JKnPA of whatever the hell the kids name is, hasn't posted in quite some time now. Maybe the kid now knows he's wrong.

I think an apology to Larry is much deserved here! What does anyone else think?

Rather than dwell (that's a car term!) on the subject, we should move along... This horse has been put to pasture.

I agree and nothing will stop me from coming to
this board and helping anyone who asks, If I can

I never said I know everything, I have just had
a lot of experiance with the dodges and have seen
just about everything that can and will go wrong
and if I can help I will or at least try to give
a good shot at it

I know how the dealers are, they hook up there
diagnostic computer and if it says there is
nothing wrong they beleave it and than try to
convince the customer and empty there wallets
any way they can.

I am a ASE certified mechanic with 30 plus years
if that even means anything these days

The Main Problem here is that people are allowed to post anonymously and that their is not moderators here to control/delete posts or ban users for idiotic behavior!
