I just went out and checked, I have a 46mm.

My question now would be: how do you open it up and if I get someone to do it how much would it cost?

Thanks!

You got lucky if you have a 46mm

Dremal tool and files, sand paper and steel wool.

It takes a few hours, I have done many by hand
before they started making aftermarkit.

Fastman charges 250 and your old one for a
modified stock body.

Or find someone to do it.

You need to remove the air horns around the bores
and remove the torque step being sure not to hit
the plate bore or it will be junk.

I can post a picture of a mod 42 so you can see
what you need to do, I just need to run out to
the garage and grab it and get a pic.

I have given some thought to doing them for people
for $100 plus shipping.

Larry, are you still considering working on our stock TBs? Would this be better than a stock V8?

Hell, i'd do it for a hundred bucks too. No it won't be better then a stock v8, but you can and should do the same thing to the v8 one.
