I ordered a black magic fan (with a red shroud...woohooo) from Jegs on friday so that project will be coming up prety soon. So I have yet another question. What did you guys tap into to get switched 12volts? the radio? the lites? which is best?
BTW I got this fan from Jegs for 208.00, which I guess insn't too bad but when I went to the local NAPA they wanted $359.00!! I even loooked at the book and it was the same fan but I couldnt get it in red. I can understand a little price difference but a little over 150.00! gimmie a break.

I hook them directly to a 12 volt sorce and put
a master disconect switch on the ground side of
the thermo switch.

You can also find an assesory plug in the main
power distrabution box under the hood that goes
on and off with the key if you want so you never
forget to arm the thermo switch.

They also should have a 30 amp inline fuse and run
through a 30 amp relay which the BM150 should come
with.

If you are going to hook up the A/C switch that
they also have now you need to do it on the ground
side of the thermo switch and tap the A/C clutch
switch on the side that grounds when the A/C is on

You need to check that with a volt meter to determine which wire to tap

Got my fan last night and it didnt come with a relay, just a in-line fuse. The directions call for a circut breaker but all there is in the bag is the in-line fuse, am I missing something here??
