I can't get my IAT adjuster mounted.. the enclosed velcro strip had a defective glued side. I went out and bought some more, and it won't stick. What can I use to mount is to my dash, under my radio?

I used some automotive molding tape Its like really strong double sided tape, got it at wally word think 3M makes it
