My 92 automatic wont start or anything. I drove it all day today and everything was fine. An hour or so after I got home, I went to crank and nothing, no click or anything. My radio comes on and goes off when I turn the key, which is normal. When I turn the key and let off I can hear a click coming from the rear, which I assume is the fuel pump.

I replaced the starter a few months ago and am guessing I blew a fuse or the ignition switch is bad. Well, Im hoping its one of those two since they would be cheap to replace. Any one have a similar problem? What could be wrong??

Uhh maybe your battery is half dead. When you turn the key to the on position what does it read, also the fuel pump should not click lound when you turn the key off. It should only make a sound when the key is on.

I didnt even look at the voltmeter but the headlights were normal and its been starting fine all day, but Ill look tomorrow. As for teh fuel pump, when I turn the key on then let off it clicks. Im also thinking of checking the starter/solenoid contacts, thanks Rooster

Yeah i had a similar problem. I would go to turn the key and nothing would happen just the radio would come on and all. There would be a clicking noise when i turned the key off. So i brought it into my local repair shop and they said the solenoid connections in the starter where bad so i had it fixed and it started fine after that.

Mopar or Nocar
enough said..

I replaced the starter a few months ago so I ruled it out, but we just hit it with some pliers and it works now. So its the sh!tty starter autozone sells. Ill take it off and return it and pay the difference on the good one. Thanks fellas.

I just put my buddy's starter relay in mine and nothing changed. I was about to go buy a ignition switch, until he decided to give it a good whack.
