 Subject: truck stalls, just installed accel coil

well, You read it right. I had no problems with the truck prior to installing this Accel ignition coil. now it stalls randomly, it's almost like the plug in not connecting right.
the truck won't start unless you push the boot down.
any idea's on what to do?? I was thinking about taking it off and putting my old one back on and returning the Accel coil.
after installing it though, I have noticed the truck's RPM's will climb higher, before it would stop at about 3,500 RPM's, not it will get to the redline of 5,000 RPM's.
any hints would wonderful.

did u check that all the sparkplug wires are tight on the distributer and to the plugs?
first i would check all the connects that transfer spark
then go thru the instrustions again making sure everything is snug
