My brother-in-law owns a Dodge Dealership (also a Ferrari and Maserati Dealership) in England --- so I know first hand that oil change intervals are MUCH longer in Europe. However, European oil standards are higher in general than they are in the USA. For the record --- Amsoil exceeds European Standards.

on slick 50 and even dumps on it I know several that have tried it with absolutely no milage increase over long trips on the hiway. besides do you think that ground up plastic belongs in your engine? the only thing that might do is plug up oil galleries. most of that crap gets stuck in the oil filter on the first pass.
