I have a 92 Dakota (V6) and it doesn't idle very well especially when its cold. The RPM are all over the place. It will shoot up to 2000 and then back to 900. It will do this several times. Also when you come to a stop it will surge just before you get completely stopped. Any ideas what's causing this??

Sounds like a vacume leak to me. check all the little hoses for cracks or being disconnected.
