My transmission seems to be kicking down a little funny so I'm going to check the fluid levels but i was also wondering if there is a Vacuum regulator on the kick down, if so where is it? Also if I'm not on the throttle and then just push the throttle abruptly to full there is a little 'clunk' sound, is this normal?
Thanks,
Zac

There is a kickdown band that can be adjusted. Im not sure if its on the outside of the tranny or inside the tranny oil pan. I know you have a low-reverse band and a kickdown band. A haynes manuel will show you more, or reply back and i'll look in mine and try to help you out. What year???

the kickdown is on the drivers side of the tranny above the throttle valve lever. take the locking bolt off and hand tighten, then back off about 3/4 to 1 whole turn, put the locking bolt back. see if that works if it's still to hard, back it off 1/4 turn at a time till you like the shift.
