just call someone at turbonetics, they can tell you the proper size turbo to get for the specific application (engine size, powerband, amount of boost... so on).

Digital,
well my stuff was kinda made for my truck and probably wouldnt be much of help to you. I beleive i kept my exhaust manifold that i made and i'll see if i can get pix to give you ideas. Unless you got a TB0301 (like i did) then your flanges are gonna be different than the ones i used. The turbo i had was basically called a "bastard" because of its unique build for the buick regal 3.8... thats all it was made for. It had 2.5" header flanges while newer and most Garret T3 turbos use standard T3 flanges. Places you might find of interest:

but anyway, mine isnt from a Grand National. Its from a buick regal, they are different (well the turbos are). Mine came from a 1978-79 Buick Regal 3.8 Carbeurated motor. It was a draw through design that actually put the turbo between the carb and intake manifold. Now if your's is from a real GN then it would be different... it would have standard T3 flanges... but i think that all the GN's came with T3/T4 hybrids and then the GNX came with a big T4. Do you have any pix of it?

oh crap, you did manage to get the same turbo i had!

first thing you need to do is loose that crappy compressor housing. Get hold of turbonetics and order a standard T3 compressor housing with hose fittings... should be .42 a/r on the compressor. Just tell em what you got and they should hook you up. I beleive they are around $70... i paid $100 because i had mine polished.

Well if you get the compressor housing like i said, you will only need silicone hoses for that end. For the exhaust flanges, i used 2.5" to 2.25" header reducers. One requires a gasket (use copper!) and the other doesnt.

how are those pics coming, call or email PLEASE!! I got the blitz turbo timer and a faze boost guage recently, now all i need is my APEXi SAFC and the greddy PROFEC boost controller so i can hit 10 lbs. please respond gregg, i need to get the piping done.
