Is there any special way to clean the TB and IAC? Is there a chemkical that is made for that? Is there anyhting I should avoid?
I am having the same problem with my 2001 4.7.

Any spray cleaner such as Gumout or STP will work fine.

You may also want to check for codes. It could be the TPS acting up. But clean the TB and IAC first.

If it's still acting up you might want to consider
cleaning the internals with a good additive.

I had major idling issues and surging when driving
my 2003 Durango. After reading all the comments I
replaced the TB sensor cleaned the TB total cost 35
dollars and all my problems are solved running
great. Oh and no warning or check engine lights EVER
CAME ON BEFORE OR AFTER.

So I'm having the same issue surging at
speeds over 40 at low consistent rpm. Just
had trany rebuilt thought was bouncing out
of lock uplease (it was also sliping) and
I just replaced the tps and I'm still
having the same issue this is really
getting old. Does anyone one have any
advice. Truck is a 02 quad cab 4.7
