I own a 96 Dakota SLT 4 wheel drive v6 mag, with a Automatic trans,I would like to know how to fine out what type of trans I have, 42RH,46RH,or a 42RE? Thanks

Look at the transmission pan. I believe that if your pan is like a square with a corner cut off, it's the A-500. If it doesn't look like that it's an A-518. I'm pretty sure you dont have the RH or RE, but what do I know?
