 Subject: Rattle sound w/ AC on.

I have a rattle sound that I hear at idle when the AC is on. I don't think it could be the timing chain because I have a '99, and I guess that they have the tensioner on the timing chain. Is this the fan clutch going bad? the alternator? Its hotter than blazes in the desert already, and I don't want it to result in my AC or fan going out. Please help!

probably the clutch on the AC compresser if it only does it with the AC switched on
