Here are the diagrams for the fan switch box
with the LED

All you need to do is run 3 wires in to the truck
to complete the ground on the circuit.

Red from the switched side of the relay to the
resistor on the LED Pos of relay switched side
lead to fan.

LED be sure you put in right way just test with
a jumper wire (through the resistor) it will only
light 1 way

across the battery terminals.
it won't create a spark just solder the
resister on the POS side when it lights.
the other end goes to ground inside the
switch box.

its in a bitmap paint program open from source
and copy it so you have it on hand, print it or
save it on your computer.

Wow it showed up on the preview

The Jumbo LED you can get in any color at
Radio Shack, Red, Green, almost any color.

The right switch in the box is master disconnect.
it disables the thermo switch, so when you shut
the truck off the fan will not come on and run.
(gray wire)

Be sure to turn on at start up so your thermo
switch is activated. and off when you shut down
or the fan will start after sitting and run from
heat rising on hot days for like 5 minutes.

The left switch is manual on switch this means
when you flip this switch the fan will come on
at any temp and run. should the thermo ever
fail you can flip this switch, also use to test fan.
(black wire)

The LED will come on any time the fan is running
makes adjusting the thermo switch a lot easier
when you can monitor the fan.

The flexolite thermo switch comes with the BM150
I used a fan out of a 90 Olds Cutlas with this set
up and it works great. This gets mounted under the
hood where you adjust the switch.

Yes you need to stop and open the hood but just
a few times until you dial it in but with the LED its
not to bad. mine is set at around 185 190 its on.
off course you would want to set it higher with
a stock thermo so it comes on just above 195

Elect fan should not run all the time just on hot
days below 75 it rarely comes on.

Radio Shack part #s

Rocker switch 275-691 (they look nice)

1k ohm 1/4 watt resistor 271-1321 (come in 4 pack around$)

Project Enclosure 270-1801 1/8 drill for diode hole, don't
remember for the rocker switches you will have to mark
the box drill close to both ends and file square to pop
the switches in.

The LED I don't have the # for its just a jumbo LED
100 volt or something that's why you need the
resistor.

After Thought,

I just got done installing this in my truck.

The center connection on the relay is on untill
the relay is triped so I ran a wire from there to
another LED Green with 1K ohm resistor and put
the other end of the LED on with the wire coming
into the master disconnect switch.

Now The green LED is on as soon as I activate
the master switch.

It also shows me I have power to the relay and I
won't forget to shut it off having the green LED
on.

Now the red LED comes on and the green goes off
when the fan is running, nice to watch it switch
back and forth.
