The pictures made me want to buy it! It's only up to around $2,400, needs a new rad and fender among other things ... saw those on ebay too. It looks like mine, but newer. Could be a good deal for someone.

somthing doenst add up... 2 fenders, hood bumper? and they slavaged the truck?!
i bet the frame is tweaked. there isnt enough damage to kill the truck.
i had a neon (yeah, i know) before i owned my dak. someone opened the side like a can of worms. front panel, door, and rear body (no panel) destroyed. turned out to be 3000 damage only. blew my mind.
something tells me though that there is more wrong with this truck than appears.
my 2 cents.

I'd say that truck isn't worth whatever they set the reserve at, especially for someone who knows nothing about body work. If you plan on buying that and just buying the stuff they have listed, then you're probably mistaken -- I've seen less severe wrecks at the body shop at the dealer where I work at quickly add up to over 25 hours of work.
If you think looking at that is bad...my neighbor has a 98 Dakota SLT 4x4 extended cab with a 4.7 in green...his truck is the reason I got mine -- I couldn't stand looking at his all the time and owning a little ford ranger.
Anyway, last week, he came home after a snow storm while I was shoveling my driveway. I heard a weird clicking noise, so I glanced up. his whole front end was mangled -- grill cracked, fanders pushed out, and his hood sat about 3 inches higher in the middle than it used to. And I had to witness that aftermath in person.

It is not a good deal at all. I have a 2000 that looks just like that. When I got hit from behind they wanted $1,400 just for a new bumper and to fix two dents behing the cab from the bed liner hitting it. Parts for a dakota is to much money.

They wanted 1300 for mine after some idiot rear-ended me... but my insurance covered it and the deductable (Lucky!)
You know, $800 on the bill was labor... blah.

Yeah, someone anonymously rear-ended mine in a parking lot last year... $1600 damage.

I would be willing to bet 8-10k to fix that. The frame was bent on my '97 they fixed it. 10hours worth of frame work alone. Looked good after they were done.
