Alright people I would really like some opinions before I purchase my tonneau soft cover for my 2001 3.9 4X2 regular cab truck. Im looking to spend around 200 to 250 for a cover and I dont want it to be velcro. I was wondering if the button ones work well or not? MY second question concerns wether I should get a black cover or one that matches the color of my truck. The reason Im asking is I have stripes going down my truck and I cant put stripes on the cover. Heres what my truck looks like. http://www.cardomain.com/id/shiper4

Nice truck.

For your truck, check with places around your area to see if someone can make you one. Look for auto upholstery shops. Then you can have it color matched to your truck with the stripes in it. It would cost you more than a black one but it would really set your truck off nicely.

totally agree with White...a friend got his custom made by a local boat canvas shop but they make anything with canvas..he color matched his truck perfect..spent like $400 but so worth it..really sets it apart...if you can't spend that much the snap versions are fine as long as you keep the snaps lubed in the winter..and they make tonneau's with sides that slip into a groove on the rails also..those give it a really smooth look
