hey guys ..i live in the panhandle of florida ...neither autozone or advanced auto part car robert shaw thermostats... WTF.. ppl keep saying u can get em at autozone bla bla bla.. and i cant find em online. theres no speedtweaks anymore so pls no one post to go buy it there. damn non existent pos.. pep boys has superstant 180t stats? am i going to have to get one of these..???/?

i got mine at checker,stant 180,it works great,i got a little more consistant at the e.t. races,runs cooler in traffic ac on ,ilive in az.

speaking of....i work at advance auto, we dont have a stant number that i can find for a 180 stat on a 2000 Dak 3.9. the local NAPA cant get one either, add to the fact i despise stant products. anyone have a robert shaw part number and a contact?

I got a stant from Checker for my 00 3.9...havent put it in, so I dont know if its right..
I cant find Robert Shaw for the life of me either!!!! WHERE TO GET THESE FRICKEN THINGS!

OK, I know I've posted this in other forums, but I can't remember if I posted it here. 1st off, the name of the company is Robertshaw, not Robert Shaw, 2nd, they are still in business making thermostats for residential and business HVAC systems. 3rd, they sold they automotive division of thermostat controls to Cooper Tire and Rubber. The Cooper website for the Robertshaw T-stat is: http://www.cooperstandard.com/aftermarket/Gen2Product.htm.
Cooper still makes the Robertshaw T-stat with the power pellet inside but it now has the Cooper Standard and Robertshaw name on it.

the stant 180 i got is the same as 5.2,5.9,at checker auto ,10-12 bucks,bet robertshaw stat prob. 20 bucks
