The top Celica - if its a GT-S - can do a 6.8 second zero to sixty clocking, and a 15.4 @ 91 mph quarter mile - stock (180 HP).

Might be tough to beat, but why dont you just run him & find out? Cripes, who cares who wins. Sometimes the race itself can be fun ya' know.

Go run him from a dig, and run him from a roll & write back w/ the results.

Most likely you will beat him off the line easy
enough....but off of a 30 punch he might be a
lil more difficult than you thought....but then
again i'm basing that off my results with a 2k2
mitsubishi eclipse so....thats just my guess

BTW....if he does have a manual....and knows
how to drive......(agreeing with above)....then
you will have to find out what it will do...but
then again just have fun doing it....those no
reason to blow up over a ricer

i think i will stomp him. hes got a 1.8liter inline 4 AUTOMATIC transmission. the reason i cant race him yet is because he doesnt get his licence until july 16. guess what im doing that day ;) btw, i should bet like 10 bux or something, because he has it set in his mind that he will beat me. the reason i think this is because of this. look at what i have beaten.

the chevy impala with a 3.0 doesnt put out 200 hp.. infact i dont think chevy makes a 3.0. The 3.8 liter makes 200 hp but cant move that car out of its own way. I think the base motor for those was a 3.1 liter with 150-160 hp depending on year.

btw jay, i think the 93 kota 3.9 had 180 hp... either the 93 or 92, i can never remember.

OOOOHH Great a couple of very young inexperianced drivers gonna go out and endanger all of us just cuzz one says "mine is bigger then yours". When you two "boys" get done proovin your "manhood" I know of several funeral homes that your parents can take at least one of your bodies to. Jeese o pete. Must you two juvies put everyone in your town in danger? Betcha dollars to donuts that your police chase resulting in your death or arrest will be on "COPS" or that show Sheriff Bunnel hosts in the next 2 years.
Now before you yuongsters start harranging an older, more experienced man, I need to tell you something. A very close friend of mine died way back in "72 because he thought his home built chopped and channeled "53 Willys was faster then another friend's "67 Pontiac GTO. They were racing through a park, the Willys broke loose, it hit a tree going more then 80 mph. I was the first one to get to the car, he rolled out the door when I opened it, and fell to the ground, already dead. I hope this does not happen to you.

were not retarded and going to go racing through a park. the road we all race on is in the middle of a field, all open so even if you do go off the road you can just coast and be fine.
