If you choose to not go the amsoil route, pretty much any name brand oil will do. The key is too change it and the filter often. If you're too lazy or don't really have the time to do it yourself, something like amsoil is perfect for you! Taking your truck to a quick lube place or Wal-Mart is just asking for trouble.....

I run all Amsoil Fluids and have had no problems
actualy seamed to help performance.

I switched over at 72,000 and no leaks like people
talk about. I think most of these people already
had bad leaks.

Before that I use Casteroil GTX 10-30 changed
every 3000. Any good oil changed regularly is
fine.

With the Amsoil I change the filter every 3000
and oil and filter at 6000

The synthetic universal trans fluid actualy made
my trans smother

Steven (Amsoil Sponsor) introduced me to Amsoil about a year ago. I have been using Amsoil products now for about 8 months. I did my first oil analysis in May(after 6 months and 9k miles) and was told that the oil was still within spec and that I could continue to use it. So I simply replaced the oil filter and added enough oil to replace what was lost in the filter change (about 1 quart). I recently signed up for a commercial and retail resale account so that I can switch all our vehicles to Amsoil (we own four V6 Dakota service trucks)and I will be selling it retail in my store also. Thanks.
