 Subject: V6 Hurst Shifter for 2000

Well I've searched all throught the boards and could not find anyone who has installed the Hurst Shifter on a 2000 V6. Could not really even confirm that the 2000 V6 has the NV-3500 Tranny. Guess we'll see. Ordered it from summitracing.com for $169 (item # HUU-391-0155). IT was out of stock at Jeg's but the price was the same. Guess I'll be the guinea pig on this one (90 day return policy). Will keep everyone posted.

Yeah i have read them and will probably print them out but his is a 99 so its a different tranny, and shifter but the installation i can only imagine will be similar.

I just looked at my service manual for '01. There were 2 trannies. NV1500 for 4cyl. & NV3500 for med duty. I would think you would have NV3500. Keep us posted on your development. I thought about this mod myself. I have a console and was wondering if anything is different.
