my freeze plug is rusted and needs to be changed, it leaks antifreeze quite a steady drip, should i bring this to a mechanic(my friend) and have him change the timing chain at the same time? cuz my timing chain is clicking also, is this problem common?

Yeah i think Dodge had some service bullitins about timing chain noise. The casting plug is easy to change, just drain the coolant, knock the old plug in, pull it out, clean up the hole and tap the new one in with a little rtv and your good to go. You can usually get the entire set of plugs for like 20 bucks.
