Hey,
So, I'm driving along today (bringing my girlfriend home) ... and I notice a weird smell as I pull up behind this car in front of me. Also, I noticed a little bit of white smoke. Figured it was the car in front of me.
Well, it actually turns out that my drivers side caliper had a minor seizure. I jacked the truck up, removed the tire (in the rain) and monkeyed around with it a little bit. Hit the brakes while the truck was turned off and up off the ground. Seems to have fixed it for the time being.
But, I feel that I am going to need to replace the calipers real soon (46,500 miles on the truck). So, my question is this: What calipers are the best to get?? I don't really want to shell out a ton of money, but I don't want El Cheapo versions.
So, to recap, what are the best Calipers to buy for the best price???
