i found a low miles camaro z28 lt1 with engine transmission and all the necessary wiring. (harness ecu etc) is it possible to swap it into my 98 v6 5 speed dak the lt1 comes with a 6 speed manual. the engine package is pretty cheap so i just want a ballpark on the difficutly of the swap

you should forget about the z28 swap unless you can have the correct engine and transmission mounts fabricated so that they wil fit -- aswap up to a 318 block with 340 heads - if youcan get them- is the way to go-- a decent 318 with 340 heads [ from what used to be a transam 340] will put out 350-375 horsepower ands will fit right in you will need a better tranny for that power-- good luck
