My truck is into the ext. warranty and the black strip at the bottom of the windows is starting to rust bubbling the rubber. Is this be covered under warranty to replace? I know it should be was wondering if any one else has noticed the same problem.

My 2000 Chrysler sedan has started to bubble on the rockerpanels and I have to have the rust repaired this month. I can't find an answer as to whether it is covered under warranty, just alot of links that lead nowhere. I believe I only have a 5 year warranty but would like to be certain. any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

Rust warranty is only for 'rust-through'. It has to eat a hole through to be covered.
