Bernd Ratch runs one, J&J auto runs one and I tried to have them work my spare pcm. We ran into some internal programming errors and it didnt work out. They are real nice guys to deal with though.

blueballs,

I just sent my ASE Chip back to have some changes
made for the new cam I am testing should have it
back by the end of the week.

It worked out very well with the stock cam and
1.7's I would say about 15 to 20 RWHP with my
mods but I am going to get somewhat more aggressive
with the timing and fuel for the new cam.
custom ground crower.

I am running stock ECU with Jet Stage 2 right now
and it is working very well and gives me about 1.5
mpg more than the ASE with just a little loss in perf.
But I am grabbing 5 degrees advance from a fabricated
crank sensor mount

The people at ASE are great to work with and they
can put anything you want on the chip.

Simple answer, Yes the ASE Chip works very well.

what are the specs on the crower cam you are running? I assume you got the cam from sam at socaldakota. I'm sure he can set you up with the correct pushrods.
